does a fine job for the money
This Omron pedometer does a fine job for very little money. I have one of the more expensive models and bought this for a niece, who does not want it. I kept it and tried it against my more expensive one and it seems to be right on. It is small, lightweight, and I love the fact that it has a small lid that covers the buttons. The more expensive one does not have a lid and the buttons get bumped by accident a lot. This less expensive one did not come with a strap but did come with the batter included. Would buy again.
Great Product
Had my original pedi over four years and just loved it! Had to replace the battery only once during all that time. The hinges finally gave out on the original unit and I was thrilled to find a replacement Omron HJ-105 on-line. Best pedometer ever!
very disappointed
Accurate when it works but that's been very intermittently. Continually resets in the middle of the day so can't keep track of anything, then started freezing on me. Only thing I could do was readjust the battery but the battery compartment is IMPOSSIBLE to open. Tried with numerous different size screwdrivers and ended up stripping the screw & finally breaking it open just to reset the thing. Now held together by tape which is ridiculous. A complete waste of money.
