Customer Reviews

Great for counting steps in an airconditioned rocking chair
I bought this pedometer for its small size and because it was sold at REI. It worked fine when I was wearing it just for fun, as I walked around the house, walked for no more than 5 minutes at a time in the arid West. Today I am in Washington, DC - a humid summer day -- and the gadget's screen died. I assume it is because of the "sweat" that hit the pedometer from being attached to my shirt. I didnt go for a run, or a swim -- just a heavy walk in which I did sweat a little -- but no more than a little typical on a summer day. This makes this pedometer useless for any kind of real fitness, only useful as a curiousity of "how many steps did I take when I walked around the house today?" Not versatile at all.

Disappointed
I bought this a couple weeks ago and used it for the first time today. I set it up per the instructions, wore it as recommended (clipped to my hip), and went for a walk. I counted my steps every now and again to double check the accuracy and it was spot on accurate in that regard, which is great. The frustration I have with this pedometer, like another reviewer mentioned, is that it'll give me about 10 more "steps" while unclipping it and putting it into my purse, another 5 steps moving it from my hip to reset it, or another 4 for bending over to tie my shoe. Other than that - it's easy to use - just follow the directions, and it comes with a small, yet handy, fitness guide. I gave it two stars overall because it claims such great accuracy, and picking up insignificant, non-walking/running movements, is not the "accuracy" I'm looking for.

Sportline 310 clip anywhere pedometer
Setup was easy; seems to be working well, but the clip could be a little tighter.

Little disappointed
Pretty disappointed in this pedometer. Frankly the build quality is kinda cheap and the buttons are hard to push. Worst of all, the step counts just don't seem accurate unless the angles are exactly right. Forget about setting and forgetting this thing. Definitely worth spending more money on a solid pedometer.

Pedometer That Doesn't Get You Walking....
Battery part did not fit device, so I had to return item.
What a bummer.
