My daughter loves her Jesse doll. She was really happy with her. She was a good size. One lil complaint the little black string on the back of the chap pants was a little flimsy and ripped easily.

Defective demon doll...
Okay, so not that extreme (this isn't a Firby or anything like that) but the truth remains that this doll doesn't stop talking. My daughter is obsessed with `Toy Story'. She watches it all the time and is constantly asking when she's going to see the new one at the movies. Her favorite character is Jessie (of course, for she is the most obnoxious character in the series) and so she had to have a Jessie doll, and what better version than the one that actually TALKS?!?!?! So, my wife and I found this doll for our little muffin and she attached herself to it and refuses to ever put it down.

Sadly, she is not allowed to sleep with Jessie.

The reason for this is that Jessie doesn't merely talk when her string is pulled. Jessie talks when something touches her. When you squeeze her tummy, when you rub her string, when you sit her down, when you drop her, when you roll on her. JESSIE NEVER STOPS TALKING! This is a problem for a sleeping toddler. My daughter was devastated when I took Jessie from her, but I informed her that Jessie refuses to be quiet and so she has to sleep in the toy box.

And get this, there is not off switch!

It's frustrating. You'd think there was a pull string for a reason. Oh well, the doll is cute (if not a tad awkward physically) and my daughter loves it. To be honest, the Velcro on the back that attaches her bottom half to her upper half and conceals the battery for this toy doesn't stay closed very well.

Oh well, my daughter doesn't know the difference. To her this is the best thing in the world, well, until the lights go out and Jessie has to leave the room.

Jammin' Jessie
I purchased Jessie for my granddaughter's 4th birthday. Lillian has carried her everywhere with her. She is fascinated by all the things Jessie says. Jessie is put together very well--looks exactly like the movie Jessie and seems quite sturdy. Lillian's little year old brother also loves Jessie--and is trying for it whenever he can! Our son and his wife are thrilled with the toy as well.

Helloooo Jessie!
My 4 year old picked out this Jessie doll by looking at the pictures provided. I believe this is probably the toy she wanted but the packaging was totally different. She, of course, thought it was the wrong one. It is advertised "Toy Story 3" but nowhere on the package is that name. I thought this was the movie version like our Woody; the one with the certificate of authenticity. It is not. However, daughter seems satisified so I'm happy.

Great Doll
My 5-year old daughter received this from Santa Claus and she has played with it non-stop. Jessie is made well. My daughter's only complaint is that her hat falls off a lot. Although several people have complained about Jessie not having real hair rather than plastic, my daughter has not complained about that. And she is a girl who loves to play with a doll's hair. I am glad it does not have real hair since all of my daughter's other well-loved dolls have matted hair since she plays with them so much. Now, I won't have to worry about it with this doll since she has plastic hair.
