Customer Reviews

truthful review
I'm pretty sure the other review posted here was written by the company because I've found the same one written word for word on other pro-sportline sites.

There are two things I really dislike about this pedometer. One is that the package mentions it uses "pendulum technology" which I think is an excuse for the pedometer's insides to rattle around with every single step you take. My boyfriend's does the same thing. It's incredibly annoying while you walk. Also, it frequently miscounts steps because if you speed up suddenly or stop suddenly, it can mistaken your one step for three or four steps.

The second is that there's a sensor in the bottom of the pedometer that faces the floor so when you step it can tell. Unfortunately, as soon as I clip this thing onto my workout shorts, it curls just enough inward so that the fabric obscures the sensor. I can walk 20 steps (normal length, counting out loud), and look down and it's only logged maybe 10 if I'm lucky. What's the point of having a pedometer if it cant tell when I'm walking? And yes, I did configure all the settings appropriately including stride length before encountering these issues.

Oh, and if you call the toll number to speak to someone at the company, all it does is play "we'll be right with you" reminders and elevator music forever. It's like no one even works there.

Love This Product!!
I'm a nursing student and type 2 diabetes runs in my family so I purchased one of these for myself and one for my mother so that we can walk together. This is a great little gadget because it does everything I want it to. We figured out our target heart rate by subtracting our age from 220 (which is the way people with no cardiac problems or family history of heart problems would do), and then we were able to check our heart rate, calories, and distance on this. I would recommend this product to anyone.
