Nice combination of features
I bought this for my wife who wanted something to wear at the gym to monitor her heart rate while working out. She loves it. The numbers are large enough to read without squinting and she loves the fact it's a watch and a pedometer too - what a combination. Highly recommend.
Good, simple Heart Rate Monitor with helpful features.
For a first timer, this heart rate monitor was easy to understand and use. I have used it during running and spinning in the gym and it seems to work fine and the HR seems to correspond with my level of work out.
the only thing i haven't figured out is how to turn the light on while getting a HR reading. To get HR reading, one has to press 2 buttons at once and the HR takes 4-5 seconds to appear but if it's dark, i can't read it and when i press the light, it's already back at the home screen.

This watch is not user friendly. The directions booklet does not provide a good step by step use to switch between modes. There are too many modes for someone who wants a simple pedometer. It does not record steps properly. I was sitting in the car and somehow managed to walk 562 steps. It kicks into the heart rate mode by itself at times and I always am beating at 84 heartbeats a minute regardless of what I am doing???? Buy this product only if you are a "gadget" person and have the time and patience to learn all its intricacies. Plus, they need to make a women's version--the current size is bulky and gawkey on a woman's wrist--looks very mannish.
Arrived broken
I was really excited to get this Smart Health Heart Rate Monitor in the mail. Unfortunately, it would never turn on. I was so disappointed. I contacted the manafacturer and they never got back to me. Customer Service is very important- I would have been willing to receive a replacement and try again. I would definitely go with a different brand.
Great HRM watch for the price!
This is a great strapless HRM watch! My wife and I both picked up one from Big 5 recently each for a super low price. It has many features such as the HRM, Pedometer, Dual Time, Alarm, and Stopwatch. The HRM stored up to 50 HR measurments in memory. It is very easy to use because user just needs to enter some personal info such as age and weight and it will calculate the target heart rate zone for you. There are 4 HR zones. The first 3 zones are automatically calculated for you based on the user input information. It shows the percentage and the BPS for all zones. The 4th zone allows user to adjust the ideal heart rate zone to work out in. It notifies the user when we are in the specific zone by times of beeping sound. The Pedometer has calories burnt, distance walked, total time of walking. I cannot ask for more features for this low price watch that does so many things for me. I wear it to hike and running. Because it is strapless, the user must place his/her two fingers on the watch to get an accurate HR reading. Therefore, the user must either slow down or stop exercising to get a measurement. Overall, great watch!
