Mio pedometer - don't buy
Don't buy this item. I received one for Christmas & 3 days later it stopped counting steps. They suggested a new battery. After just 3 days I thought that was pretty bad but I did it anyway. After spending more $ on the battery I realized it counted riding in the car as 'steps'. But I was willing to put up with that and now it's Jan. 31 & the battery is dead again. It lasted about 3 weeks this time. Ridiculous. Now how much is it going to cost to return it and get the money back?
I just saw a heart monitor & pedometer by this company in a store. No way. I'll never buy anything from this company again.
Mio Pacer
I love this pedometer. It is accurate to within 5% according to my 100-step checks. Its size makes it very convenient. It has a buncha functions that make it fun to use as well as allowing you to track goals daily and weekly. A function to keep a cumulative count of ALL steps and calories burned over the life of the unit would have been cool and I was surprised that it was not available since it would seem easy to include. The price is a bit steeper than the scads of cheapo plastic ones that I looked at and decided against. But Im a gadget-guy, so the technical part of the Mio attracted me.
Like I said....I love this pedometer. However, it did not like its trip through my washer and dryer. Check your pockets or you may be buying your SECOND one as I am.

Very happy with it
I goes onto your belt, pants or etc. It keeps good count of the steps that you take. It does sometimes miss some of your steps, pleased with the quality of the product for the price.
