Not consistent
It wasn't a bad buy for the money, but it wasn't consistent. I'd do the same activities each day with a vastly different result, actual ex Monday 2147, Tuesday 180. I tested it at 10 paces. No problem. 100 paces. Came up with 87. Maybe I'm doing something wrong, but I couldn't figure it out.

Plastic belt clip broke within a month.
Purchased on 5/26/10. Belt clip broke on 7/3/10. Amazon suggested purchase of leash which I bought, but leash was unnecessary as the pedometer came with one.

Loved this pedometer!
Very east to read, east to use and easy to see! A great product that comes in a pack of two at a great price, love it!

Simple & Effective
This simple pedometer is really all you need. I found it the best out of three pedometers I used.

I used one of these after the battery on my fancier Omron pedometer went dead. I found the AX-120 easier to use. It stayed on my waistband, was more accurate, and has that handy leash, which protects it from falling. Believe me, you want to use that leash. It makes the difference between a working pedometer and a non-working pedometer.

Although the Omron can be calibrated to your step length, if you both run and walk in one day, that renders the "mileage" data from it useless. It also tends to fall off your waist, since it has a pinch-clip like one of those things that you use to close a bag of chips...and no leash. One fall, and it started only counting three steps for every five.

I tried one other brand that I was given for free, and it was also pretty good, and pleasantly simple, but a little too sensitive. It tended to credit me with 200-250 steps just for my commute home, sitting in my car (okay, bumpy roads, but still.)

Conclusion: unless you're a real data junkie, this AX-120 is all you need. The price is great.

Our favorite pedometer
This has been our favorite pedometer for about 6 years now. We have tried several others, but keep coming back to this one. The only negative we have encountered is that after opening it a lot, it won't stay closed and we have to put a piece of tape over it to hold it closed.

A leash is a definite requirement for us---otherwise they fall off and get lost a great deal.

One new one we bought had a problem within the first month---all the numbers went to 9 and we couldn't use it. The others have all been okay. We never got around to sending it back to be replaced, so we don't know how good the company is about replacement.

A leash
It pretty much does what it is supposed to do. It clips very well to the pants or shorts I wear and there are times that the pedometer almost fell to the ground, but the leash saved it :). I don't see anything too special about it. All I know is that it works well. It's just a leash, people. I also got this leash very FAST. I didn't even order 2 day shipping!

What a waste
This "safety leash" is a poorly designed total waste of money. The leash that comes free with the pedometer is much better and is perfectly adequate.

Fell apart
Got the pedometer and the leash on the same day. The pedometer (Digi-Walker) works great, but the first time I tried to use the leash, it completely fell apart. The suspender-type clamp broke as soon as I opened it to clamp in on my slacks. It will cost more to ship it back than it did to buy it. JUNK

You get what you pay for!!
Don't waste your money! I received this cheaply made strap in poor condition with frayed edges. I can't believe this was shipped to me in this condition. Not worth returning because postage would cost more than this is worth!!! Beware!!!!

At last a true safety leash
I love my poedometer. It keeps me motivated but so often fall and get lost while walking running etc. The OEM leashes seem to be always made of plastic and are all to easily broken, this leash with a metal clips promises to perform and help me keep track of my pedometer.
